In the Studio with Visual Artist Shoshanna Weinberger
In August of 2020, I was invited by Paul Robeson Galleries (PRG) to create a short film about my studio practice and provide insight on my work here in Newark, NJ.
In the Studio is a video series highlighting the work of artists from PRG’s past, current and upcoming exhibitions. The following film gives a little glimpse of my background, process and my studio space at Project for Empty Space. Also highlighting some of the works included in the 2018 exhibition Mirror Mirror.
The film was written, produced, recorded and edited by yours truly, it was my first time using iMovie. Excited to make more of these short films in the future.
A special thanks to Gary Townsley for filming external shots and for loaning the audio equipment so I could do the voice over work. Also, special thank you to Paul Crisanti, for his 40+ years of professional editing experience and guidance via Zoom!
